I am a registered nutritional therapist with a special interest in the following fields: Pre-diabetes, type 2 diabetes, mental health and nutrition in older years. These are the fields where I have successfully developed well-being plans, clinical research and commercial projects to help improve health, productivity and wellness. My approach is person centred using SMART Goals and coaching to help achieve positive health outcomes. I have completed a number of commercial roles to develop, review public health policies and well-being in the workplace as well as completed several research projects within the field of health/well-being and nutrition. The rest of my time is spent writing blogs and general nutritional articles.
Training, qualifications: MSc in Nutritional Therapy; I am registered with both BANT and CNHC who are an approved body and endorsed by the GMC.

A little bit more about my specialisms;

Pre-diabetes and type 2 diabetes – Evaluate risk then develop a personal nutritional plan to aid weight loss and better glycemic control to help manage diabetes and insulin resistance.

Cardiovascular Risk – Develop a plant based meal plan and exercises to improve heart health, reduce blood pressure to reduce risk of heart related diseases.

Frailty Care – A personal review of individual needs through the ageing process including a dietary plan that considers nutritional needs in frailty such as protein for muscle mass, mineral rich foods for bone health and hydration.

Gut Health – Focusing on lifestyle changes to improve digestion and eliminating inflammatory factors from the diet that can reduce fatigue, weight gain and depression.

Mental Wellness – Focusing on unhealthy foodstuffs, stress and behavioural changes to improve mental health. Reducing anxiety, stress, depression and support for children with behavioural challenges like ADHD.
